Marsha Rivkin Center Scholar Award

The Marsha Rivkin Center Scholar Award is presented to promising young scientists and doctors pursuing a career in ovarian cancer research. Compared to other diseases, ovarian cancer receives very little funds for research. Hence, talented scientists and doctors often direct their careers to studying other diseases where the funding is readily available. The Marsha Rivkin Center Scholar Award ensures the best and brightest minds have an opportunity to begin a career in ovarian cancer research. This award provides a senior scientist to guide the scholar in order to focus on the difficulties faced in ovarian cancer research.
