How You Can Help the Marsha Rivkin Center

As the Marsha Rivkin Center continues to grow, so does our need for community support and involvement. Together we can conquer ovarian cancer and improve the outcomes of women who are diagnosed with this deadly disease. You can help in many ways...

You Can Make a Donation

Your financial support will help us to:
  • Expand our Pilot Study Program with encourages bright, young scientists to pursue and develop new ideas in ovarian cancer research.
  • Support the efforts of visiting scientists who would like to collaborate with ovarian cancer researchers in Seattle.
  • Sponsor educational seminars.
  • Support the design of clinical trials aimed at the early detection, prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer.
  • Develop effective methods of communicating research findings to patients, families and health care providers.

Donate - please use this link to donate either online or via mail or fax, or call us at (206) 215-6200 or (800) 328-1124.

You Can give the Gift of Time

In 1995, the Rivkin family, with the support of Swedish Medical Center, created the Swedish SummeRun, a 5k run/walk. All proceeds from this event benefit the Marsha Rivkin Center. With SummeRun's growing popularity, so too grows the need for volunteers. An energetic and spirited volunteer corps makes the run a memorable and fun experience for all!

In addition to SummeRun, the Marsha Rivkin Center is in need of community volunteers to help us throughout the year as we plan more community based educational outreach programs and fundraising events.

Please e-mail us at info@marsharivkin.org or call (206) 215-6200 or (800) 328-1124.

You Can Participate in Research Studies

The Marsha Rivkin Center is the site of several Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center ovarian cancer research studies. The success of these studies largely depends on participation from women in our community. If you are concerned about or are related to someone who has/had ovarian cancer and you would like to help make a difference, the Marsha Rivkin Center would like to hear from you.

Please e-mail us at info@marsharivkin.org or call (206) 215-6200 or (800) 328-1124 to receive more information.
