Ovarian cancer is the leading cause of gynecological cancer-related deaths among women between the ages of 35 and 74, according to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. It is now known as a "disease that whispers" because symptoms of ovarian cancer do exist but are often vague and mimic other conditions.
