Skacel This year, the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research is the proud recipient of Skacel Collection's special fundraiser, where all proceeds from their special "Egg-stra" Special Sock Kit will support research in finding an early detection test and a cure for this disease.

The sock pattern was designed by "Chappy," in honor of a Skacel family member, who is a three year survivor of ovarian cancer. A special Teal color of Trekking XXO was dyed (teal is the official color designated to ovarian cancer) by Zitron, and every design aspects of this sock, from the cuff to the toe, is a reminder that ovarian cancer can be beaten if we, as women, unite.
