Overview of Funding & Process

Applications for the Pilot Study and Scientific Scholar Awards will be accepted starting September 1. This year, all applications will be submitted online. Hard copies will no longer be required or accepted. Applicants must register in our online system prior to the registration deadline to receive a login in order to be eligible to submit an application electronically.

2015 Important Dates

  • August 17 – Online registration open
  • September 1 – Application window open
  • November 17 – Online registration closes at 5 PM PST
  • December 1 – Application window closes at 5 PM PST

Pilot Study Program

Registration for the next competition will open on August 18th, 2015. Applications will be accepted from September 1st, 2015 until December 1st, 2015. Deadlines are published above and details can be found in the RFA and guidelines below.

Challenge Grant

This grant competition is currently closed. The Rivkin Center will notify applicants of their funding decisions by August 1st, 2013.

Bridge Funding Program

This grant competition is open March 2nd, 2015 – April 15th, 2015. All applications must be received by 5 PM Pacific Time on April 15th in order to be eligible. Applications will only be accepted during the open period. (The next competition is expected to open fall of 2015.)
