Pacific Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium

The POCRC is a cooperative effort among scientists and clinicians to positively impact the outcomes of patients with ovarian cancer and those at risk through early detection, improved treatment and management. Advocates for ovarian cancer work through the POCRC to bring the patient voice and experience into the research setting and serve as a bridge between the overall scientific program and the community.

Ovarian Cancer Support Group (Swedish Cancer Institute)

This support groups meets every Tuesday from 10:30 - 12:00 to discuss treatment issues and options, coping mechanisms, adjusting to changes, stress management, communicating with doctors, family and friends, nutrition, resources and other subjects. For more information call (206) 386-6954.

Ovarian and Breast Cancer Alliance of Washington

The Alliance empowers women and their healthcare providers about the symptoms, risk factors, and recommended action steps to promote the early detection of ovarian and breast cancers.
