Volunteering

Here at the Marsha Rivkin Center, we understand the value of your time. As a volunteer, you really can make a difference. We witness that fact every day. By generously giving your time and compassion, you can experience the humbling fulfillment that comes naturally from helping others.

The Marsha Rivkin Center currently offers volunteer opportunities at both of our events – Swedish SummeRun and the Fisher Family Auction. We also offer opportunities for volunteers to come and assist us with office-type work. As a volunteer, you can earn service-learning hours required by schools, colleges and universities.

Participate in Research Studies

The Marsha Rivkin Center is the site of several ovarian cancer research studies administered by the Swedish Cancer Institute and by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The success of these studies largely depends on participation from women in our community. If you are concerned about or are related to someone who has/had ovarian cancer and you would like to help make a difference, the Marsha Rivkin Center would like to hear from you.
